Services

Nine ways we help, one team behind all of them.

Engagements range from a focused architecture review to full design, build and operation of a platform. Every service below is delivered by engineers who have personally run the equivalent systems in production.

We design the target architecture and then stay to build the first working release, so design decisions are validated against real code, real data and real operations rather than slides. Our architects have designed diagnostic software, manufacturing data systems, remote monitoring platforms, connected-device toolkits and financial reporting systems across MedTech, industry and public administration.

What we deliver

  • Target architecture, component boundaries and integration contracts
  • Data models, state and role design for audit-friendly applications
  • Security, hosting and sustainment constraints named up front
  • Technology selection with cost of operation in view
  • Architecture reviews of existing systems
  • Hands-on delivery of the foundation release

Typical environment

  • Python, Django, PostgreSQL and REST-oriented web systems

We own environments end to end: provisioning on AWS, DigitalOcean or private VPS, Linux administration, networking, VPN and TLS, firewalls and security monitoring, and the CI/CD pipelines that promote releases between environments. The same engineers have migrated organisations from shared hosting to fully automated VPS, consolidated dispersed multi-host estates and operated compute clusters for model training.

  • Build, test, release and vulnerability-monitoring pipelines
  • Linux server operation, hardening and lifecycle management
  • Networking: OpenVPN, SSH tunnelling, iptables, IPv6, SSL/TLS, OpenSSL

We have turned marine batteries into connected devices with an MQTT-based toolkit built for high security, high availability and low operating cost, and designed the data submission so that the offline periods typical of marine operation are handled gracefully. What we deliver

  • Connected-device architecture from embedded sources to cloud
  • Secure MQTT transport and broker operation
  • Offline-tolerant, store-and-forward data submission
  • Raspberry Pi and Linux edge controllers
  • Near-real-time monitoring, event notification, history and analytics
  • Remote control and field-service tooling

Typical environment

  • MQTT, Raspberry Pi, Linux edge services
  • Python acquisition and transport components
  • Cloud databases and web dashboards
  • VPN, TLS and firewalling for device fleets
  • Industrial batteries, testers and lab equipment as sources
  • Industrial IoT
  • MQTT
  • Edge computing
  • Remote monitoring

Our MedTech work spans architecture, development, DevOps and in-production maintenance of diagnostic software, integration of implant-design methodologies for human and canine applications, and medical-device data transfer. Our scientific roots are in medical image analysis: statistical models for prostate-cancer detection on ultrasound, breast-cancer symptom detection in mammography and brain-surface structure recognition, with a peer-reviewed publication and three patents to show for it. We also support the documentation and engineering evidence behind 510(k) submissions and CE marking of software as a medical device.

What we deliver

  • Diagnostic and clinical-workflow web applications
  • Medical-device data integration (including cardiac-device programmers)
  • Image-processing and classification algorithms
  • Transfer of research models into market-ready products
  • SaMD lifecycle support: 510(k) and CE marking documentation
  • Controlled change, traceability and security monitoring

Typical environment

  • Python, Django, PostgreSQL applications
  • Statistical modelling, Markov Random Fields, classifier design
  • Raspberry Pi and wireless device integration
  • Cloud-hosted, environment-separated deployments

  • 510(k) support
  • CE marking support
  • Veterinary applications

Our modelling experience predates the current AI wave: statistical classifiers for cancer detection in medical imaging, clustering and registration for multi-modal datasets, and fraud-detection models for credit-card transactions. We have managed compute clusters for training and acted as the bridge between research and product teams. Today we apply the same discipline to AI-augmented engineering and to the controls demanded by the AI Act: data governance, logging, human oversight, robustness and cybersecurity.

What we deliver

  • Statistical model and classifier design
  • Image processing and pattern-recognition pipelines
  • Operational ML pipelines: data, training, deployment, monitoring
  • Research-to-product transfer and knowledge handover
  • AI-assisted development adopted with review, tests and traceability intact
  • AI Act, GDPR and NIS2 awareness translated into technical controls

Typical environment

  • Python, Matlab (legacy models), statistical toolkits
  • Linux compute clusters and cloud training
  • PostgreSQL and MQTT-fed data pipelines
  • Medical imaging, financial transactions, industrial telemetry
  • Machine learning
  • Statistical modelling
  • Image analysis
  • Fraud detection
  • MLOps
  • Trustworthy AI

We turn a described process into structured data capture, role-based access, validation, routing, notifications and status tracking, and add lightweight Python or service components when configuration alone cannot prove the idea. Pilots are measured against a clear baseline and improved on what the field shows, not on assumptions in a specification. Examples include embassy financial reporting that replaced SAP spreadsheets, and field-service upload-and-analyse tools for industrial operations.

What we deliver

  • Process mapping with the people who run the work
  • MVP web applications with forms, roles, rules and states
  • Integrations with databases, files, REST services and devices
  • Pilot hosting with environment separation and TLS
  • Iteration cycles driven by user feedback and measurement
  • A clear path from pilot to sustained system

Typical environment

  • Django and PostgreSQL rapid web stack
  • GitHub Actions or GitLab CI for pilot releases
  • AWS, DigitalOcean or on-premise Linux
  • Jira and YouTrack workflow configuration
  • AI-assisted build where it shortens prototype cycles
  • Workflow prototyping
  • Operational pilots
  • MVP delivery
  • User iteration
  • Process digitalisation

Led by a Certified Scrum Master, we stand up Scrum and Kanban execution, configure backlog and work-visibility tooling, introduce CI/CD and test automation, and train engineers to apply the practices in daily work. We have done this for a remote embedded-development team, a research organisation, and a medical software company, and we act as the link between higher management and delivery teams so architecture, lifecycle and iteration planning stay aligned.

What we deliver

  • Agile introduction: Scrum, Kanban, backlog and iteration planning
  • Work-visibility platforms and change-management practice
  • DevOps toolchains: CI/CD, static analysis, test automation
  • Team training, including remote and embedded teams
  • Software lifecycle practice: versioning, release, work tracking
  • Management-to-delivery alignment and stakeholder communication

We have recovered and rebuilt a damaged medical-device software project in record time, reinstating regression testing, CI/CD and code analysis so delivery could continue safely. We have renewed security on a dispersed, mismanaged multi-host archive estate and consolidated it into a controlled data platform with minimal resources. We have moved an NGO's websites from shared hosting to fully automated VPS, built its directory domain and centralised identity, and helped it secure a 50K USD technology grant on the strength of the result.

What we deliver

  • Assessment of the current system, codebase and estate
  • Rebuild or stabilisation under delivery pressure
  • Restoration of a controlled release path
  • Consolidation and security renewal of infrastructure
  • Hosting migration and automation
  • Documentation so operations are controllable again

Typical environment

  • Infrastructure consolidation
  • Security renewal
  • Hosting migration
  • Legacy modernisation

Not sure which service fits?

Most engagements start with a short conversation about where the data comes from, who needs it and what is in the way. We will tell you plainly what we would do first.
